2. Apple Wallet
Colorado is now one of just three (3 out of soon to be 10) states that currently allows for Apple iPhone users to take full advantage of Apple Wallet's State ID feature that was released with the iOS 16 update on September 2022. Users can go into their Wallet app, hit the + icon, choose 'Driver's License or State ID, choose Colorado, and go through the steps to add their Colorado ID to their Wallet app on their iPhone and/or Apple Watch.
This method is Easy, Private, and Secure.
Using this digital ID has one very specific advantage over the myColorado app: you can use it at TSA (Transportation Security Administration) check-in points at airports like DIA.
While this method of Digital ID is currently only available for iPhone users, there are many tech experts who believe an Android version can't be too far off the horizon.
