Hello Everyone,
For the next ride we will be on meeting at Saturday, May 7th 11:30 Riverpoint Movie Theater parking lot at 3565 Platte River Drive in Sheridan, CO. Weather permitting we'll ride on the paved and mostly flat Mary Carter Greenway Trail into Chatfield State Park for @18-mile easy flat paved round trip. There's a nice coffee bar and a few rest-stops along this wonderful path. We'll continue to rotate short rides with long rides every weekend.
After trying many of the big box sporting goods stores as well as several small bike stores and other options, Shane found a shop that could come out and speak to us on safety and repair. Good Turn Cycles is a non-profit group that services traditional and electric bikes, along with bike rentals at both of their locations downtown Denver and Littleton https://www.goodturncycles.org By the way this is for ALL bike owners not just e-bike folks. We can all learn about bike repairs along with safety and etiquette. They will be bringing a couple of e-bikes so that anyone interested can do a test ride. We’ll follow the presentation with a little social with refreshments and snacks. Bring your suggestions for rides you would like to do.
Are you aware of the Denver rebate for e-bikes ($400), solar panels and heat pumps that just started in late April? All the best,
