GoodTurn Cycles Event Follow-up Questions Answered

Answers to a few questions that people had:

1) Here is an answer to rules in Aurora around bikes. Taken from this source.

• Bicycles may only be operated on designated trails.

• Bicycles shall not exceed posted speed limits.

• Allowable electrical assisted bicycles are “Class 1” and “Class 2” as defined by Colorado Revised Statutes, 42-1-102. Generally two, or three-wheeled vehicles with fully operable pedals, and an electric motor not exceeding 750 watts of power, and whose motor ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches a speed of 20 miles per hour. Allowable electrical assisted bicycles must comply with the following: 1. Speed limit of 15 mph unless otherwise posted; 2. Weigh less than 100 pounds; 3. May not be wider than forty percent (40%) of the width of the trail; and 4. May be operated on any paved multi-purpose trails only. 5. Electric bicycles are prohibited on the High Line Canal trail, except by authorized agencies.

2) Tannus can fit into 700 x 28 tires as the smallest tire option.

4) I know there was a question about a chart for bikes, but I missed the specific request for what kind of information they wanted to know. Let me know if anyone needs some follow up information for this and I'll see what I can put together!
