Results of the 2 surveys for Interest in Gatherings at the Par 3 Course and a Mens 9-League on the Championship course have been sliced, diced and pureed. Here is/are the outcomes that have been coordinated with the Golf course. Gatherings at the Par 3 Course for FV Residents (Men and Women) Mon, Thur, Fri: Starting Monday 5/30 & ending Friday 9/23; Free for initial Owners. $10 Fee for others. Mondays: 9:30 - 9:45: Check In at Pro Shop & Gather at 1st Tee. ~9:45: 1st 4-some tees off. Thursdays: 3:30 - 3:45: Check In at Pro Shop & Gather at 1st Tee. ~3:45: 1st 4-some tees off. Fridays: 12:30 - 12:45: Check In at Pro Shop & Gather at 1st Tee. ~12:45: 1st 4-some tees off.
20 Residents responded to the survey expressing their interest in Par 3 Gatherings. But once the word gets around, it is expected that even more residents will start attending. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate; even those who have never played before are invited to give it a try. These Gatherings will be opportunities to socialize with neighbors while at the same time getting in some golf. The "ambiance" is intended to be informal, relaxed and flexible = enjoyable. This is not a "League". Keeping scores is entirely up to personal preference. 9-Hole League on the Championship Course for FV Men (Only)
Tuesdays: Starting Tuesday 6/7 & Ending Tuesday; 9/20.
$45 ($31 greens & $14 carts)
Tee times will be between 4 -5 PM.
14 men have been confirmed for their 9-hole League on the Championship Course. 10 are rostered as "Count me in!" to play on a regular basis. The other 4 men preferred to be rostered as "Reserves" to fill in when the regular players have conflicts.
A kick off meeting will be scheduled within the next week where more details will be shared, such as which what which scoring app will be used, and to zero-in on a consensus for the preferred Tee Times.
