The Creative Endeavors group meets every Thursday at the Club House from 10:00–12:00 AM. Individuals bring their creative projects to work on while sharing new craft trends, artist's techniques and plan for future activities in the arts and crafts field.
This Thursday, April 28th we are going to learn the ancient art of Origami started over a thousand years ago in Japan. Origami is folding of paper to create three-dimensional characters. There will be paper and instructions for you to create cranes, frogs, rabbits and other creatures. The following week we will use these critters to make mobiles. Mobiles are a form of kinetic sculpture that can be used to decorate your home or used in a child's room or a nursery.
You are welcome to join us. If you have questions about crocheting, quilting, journal making, scrap booking or other creative endeavors there is sure to be someone there to answer your questions. You may just discover a new craft you would enjoy!
