Next Thursday, January 5th, 2023 we will be discussing activities for the upcoming year that would appeal to most residents. We try to present one class a month in the evening and possibly one or two smaller activities a month during our Thursday morning meetings. You are welcome to attend every Thursday at the Club House from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Bring your crafty project and work as we exchange ideas, techniques and resources. Bring your personal project to work on and your ideas for new creative endeavors to our Thursday meeting.
Last year we did cake decorating, origami, Japanese fish rubbings, paper flowers, crocheting, velvet pumpkins and making gourmet caramel apples among many other activities. This January we will make Crisco candles (no wax, no molds) and learn how to make easy, simple silhouettes (no drawing required, just photocopy) of grandchildren or beloved pets for Valentine's Day. Options for future activities are fabric coiled pots, calligraphy, paper making, mosaic pots or steppingstones or anything you would like to learn.
