We'll be chillin' and grillin', celebrating the onset of the BBQ season with a grilling and smoking extravaganza featuring the grill masters of Fair Way Villas and King of the Grill from the Moon Light Diner, Chef. The event, sponsored by Creative Endeavors, is scheduled for Thursday, June ninth at the Club House starting at 6:00 pm featuring samplings of barbeque and smoked recipes from our very own FWV BBQ-ologists. Bring your prepared entrée or grills will be available if needed and then, offer samplings to your neighbors. A special feature of the evening will be a presentation from the Chef at the Moon Light Diner who will graciously share some of his favorite recipes at 6:30. It's all part of a special mix and mingle event where you bring your own booze, taste delicious barbeque and enjoy the music of our resident musicians, the Bill Lyons.
We are seeking your best barbeque and smoker recipes to be published in our
first ever cookbook. Recipes for all things cooked on the grill are wanted: chicken, turkey, pork chops, hot wings, salmon and veggies, sauces and marinades along with any grilling and smoking tips you may have. We would like for you to bring a dish of your recipe to the event to share, cutting it into bite size servings for others to taste. It will be acceptable to lick your fingers but, napkins will be
provided.
Reserve grill time if need and send your recipes to jedaclose@yahoo.com to be
published in our BBQ recipe book by June 6th. We would love for you to include
photos of the dish or the chef preparing the food on the grill.
Surround yourself with good friends, music, and great BBQ and get sauced while
