Barb Alexander has provided some information the various charitable activities.
Toys for Tots: A caravan of seven vehicles delivered all the toys to the JB Hunt Trucking Company in Aurora. The truck transported all the toys to the Toys for Tots warehouse in Arvada. This was a very large collection reported by Brian of JB Hunt Trucking. Thank you to all involved in this spectacular undertaking!
Families Forward Resource Center located at 12000 E. 47th Avenue. Two large folding wagons were filled with backpacks, household items, assortment of food, and diapers for families. The organization was very pleased by the generosity of the residents. Thanks to all who donated!
Food Bank of the Rockies located at 10700 E. 45th Avenue, Denver, CO 80239. Last year, we donated $131 in cash and 203 lbs. of food. There is still and opportunity to donate food. There are plastic tubs at the Clubhouse and the Lodge for any non-perishable foods you wish to donate. Goal is 204 lbs. this year! If you care to donate money, please send to the address is above.
