The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure will be hosting the 56th Ave Widening Project Groundbreaking and Community Celebration! They would love for you all to join them for this long anticipated project.
This groundbreaking event is where the community can interact with construction trucks and equipment, learn about job and workforce opportunities, and celebrate with frozen treats!
This project will improve 56th Avenue from Peoria Street to Peña Boulevard. By widening lanes, improving medians and traffic signals, and adding new multi-use paths to connect to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge, this project will make the corridor safer and more accessible.
